In September 1994 I took on a contract with Fine Line Cinemas to create “Hoop Dreams The Motivational Tour” After 6 months of writing and revisions, the movie was ready to go on tour to over 200 high schools across the nation. While we waited for the tour bus to be completed, Fine Line had a management shakeup. In March of 1995, I got the call I was dreading from the studio’s executives- they were pulling funding for the tour and the tour was dead.
