The year was 1987 and I was a senior in high school and visiting colleges to see what college life was like. What I learned on these visits was that college kids are strapped for money and are always trying to come up with the money to buy food. A light went off in my head and the College Discount Card was born. Over the next 4 years, CDC grew and grew until it was on 12 campuses. In 1992 CDC was sold and onto my next venture, I went.
